Liverpool’s Craig Bellamy has backed the Swans to retain their Premier League place at the end of the season<\/p>\n
Bellamy was speaking on the eve of coming face to face with the Swans for the first time since he scored the winner for Cardiff at the Liberty last season.<\/p>\n
Bellamy said\u00a0\u201cThe only doubters would probably be from people outside Wales not knowing what Swansea is about as a football club<\/p>\n
\u201cThey are out of the way and they don\u2019t get the coverage that other clubs get.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut anyone who has followed Swansea and followed their progression would know the Premier League would suit them. Probably more than the Championship would because of the way they play, the way they go about their football and the players they have.<\/p>\n
\u201cA lot of people are starting to take notice and starting to realise they\u2019re a good football team.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor me, with the players they have and the way they play, they\u2019ll stay up. I honestly believe that.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd it will be a better place with them in it.<\/p>\n
\u201cI know I\u2019m from Cardiff and would I much prefer to see Cardiff doing it? Of course I would.<\/p>\n
