Ashley Williams has called on the Swans to remain calm and focused ahead of the media circus that will follow the Champions to South Wales on Saturday<\/p>\n
ESPN cameras are the least of the following that comes with every trip Manchester United make and as the Swans look to defend their unbeaten home record against the Red Devils, Williams has called on his team mates to remain focused and not get distracted by the attention that the game will bring.<\/p>\n
He told the Western Mail\u00a0\u201cIt\u2019s going to be like a circus<\/p>\n
\u201cBut we need to stay focused and I\u2019m sure we\u2019ll do that. Let everyone else get carried away by the day.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou know what\u2019s going on around you but you don\u2019t let it affect you.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe more big occasions you have the more normal it becomes and it\u2019s enjoyable. This is a big one because it\u2019s the first top four team we\u2019ve played at home.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t really think there\u2019s a good time to play Manchester United, whenever you play them it\u2019s going to be tough.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve been really pleased with our home form, it\u2019s a good challenge for us to see how far we\u2019ve come.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve learned a lot of lessons and we\u2019re more confident in this league now. Sometimes you\u2019re going to come undone against the top teams but you can\u2019t get too down about it.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re quite confident, without going over the top. We\u2019re working hard and we\u2019re confident in our work ethic. Hopefully that will stand us in good stead.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s no expectation from the outside but we expect to play as well as we can. If that\u2019s not good enough then so be it. As long as we play as well as we know we can we\u2019ll be happy.<\/p>\n
\u201cRooney is a top player, everyone knows about him, one of the best strikers in the world<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019ll be interesting again coming up against him and I like playing against the top players.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut you see them as opponents. I know everyone\u2019s going to be talking about Rooney and those people but at the end of the day it\u2019s an opponent.<\/p>\n
