“It is a fantastic feat but I always believe that a striker is only as good as the service and I think the service he got from the midfield unit and from Formica, who also put in a tremendous shift, was excellent.<\/p>\n
“I can’t just single out those two, I thought everybody was excellent.<\/p>\n
“But we are disappointed with the goals we conceded, letting them back into the game when there were stages where we were comfortable.<\/p>\n
“Yes they were always going to have possession, that is the way they play, they pass it around, but most of it is in their own half.<\/p>\n
“Today we were compact when we needed to be, we were expansive at the right time, disappointed with their goals but overall I felt we were in control of the game overall.<\/p>\n
“We had more opportunities and I thought it was a really good three points.<\/p>\n
“I set the lads a target of going unbeaten during this run of games, we’ve started well, now lets continue this next week at Sunderland.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
