Ashley Williams was hailing the young Swansea defence which kept it’s 8th clean sheet of the season at Newcastle on Saturday<\/p>\n
Williams, Steve Caulker, Neil Taylor and Jazz Richards held strong to keep Newcastle at bay for 90 minutes to earn the Swans another valuable point on their quest for Premier League safety.<\/p>\n
And after the game, Williams said\u00a0\u201cJazz hasn\u2019t got loads of experience but he\u2019s doing an excellent job at right-back.<\/p>\n
\u201cMe and Tayls have been there all season and it\u2019s been going well.<\/p>\n
\u201cCaulks is only 19 but he\u2019s an absolute beast, he\u2019s got a lot to learn like we all have but he is a great player.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe is such a big lad and for someone of 19 to be that brave on the ball in the Premier League takes a lot of courage.<\/p>\n
\u201cI thought Demba Ba was excellent. He was quick, had a good touch and you can see he is very clever in the way that he plays,\u201d added Williams.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs a centre-half it\u2019s always pleasing to get a clean sheet and especially when it comes on the road.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was a resilient display and they are the type of games you need in a campaign if you are going to do well.\u201d<\/p>\n
