Brendan Rodgers is certain that new signing Josh McEachran will become a Swansea hero<\/p>\n
McEachran signed on loan at the Liberty Stadium this week for the rest of the season and will travel to Sunderland with the squad with a likely place on the bench his immediate starting point.<\/p>\n
Highly rated at Stamford Bridge, Rodgers is convinved that he will work his magic at Swansea and told the Western Mail\u00a0\u201cHe is a cult hero at Chelsea because of his performances in some big games. He is a good kid with a good career in front of him and it\u2019s about us helping him.<\/p>\n
\u201cI do think he\u2019ll become a hero at Swansea, I genuinely do. Supporters will really enjoying watching him.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s just like a kid off the street, he just looks like a young boy, but when he plays his talent is there for all to see.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe will be a terrific signing and I can see from his first few days he is loving it.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt will be entirely down to himself how far he goes. He\u2019s been earmarked as a big talent,\u201d added Rodgers.<\/p>\n
\u201cJosh will fit in very easily here. It\u2019s important players fit in terms of talent and personality, and he fits both.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s a wonderful technician with the ball, with great vision. He is an immense talent, which he will demonstrate over the next number of years.<\/p>\n

\u201cI always said I would assess the squad in the first six months and my assessment was, we enjoyed possession.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut I always want it with penetration and feel I\u2019ve brought in two players who can help us penetrate.<\/p>\n
\u201cHopefully we saw that in 45 minutes with Gylfi against Arsenal, and Josh is of the same ilk.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe know have a lot of talent in that area. The midfield three are important and we need to keep it fresh.<\/p>\n
\u201cI feel I could put any three in there now and they would perform well. It\u2019s a nice fight.<\/p>\n
