Andrea Orlandi believes he deserves some luck this season by avoiding more injuries<\/p>\n
“It’s good to be back to business,” he said. “It’s always nice to get the shirt back on and play.<\/p>\n
“Of course, I am doing everything possible to get myself fit, I’ve trained for the first two weeks and had no problems at all.<\/p>\n
“I have been working hard to avoid injuries and I hope that continues.<\/p>\n
“I feel I deserve a bit of luck this season.<\/p>\n
“If I can have an injury-free season then I can give my best to the club<\/p>\n
“I showed glimpses of what I can do in the Premier League last season – and I want to push on now.<\/p>\n
“The competition will be harder in midfield, but I’m looking forward to it and ready for the challenge.<\/p>\n
“I’m here on the tour which is good news because we know the manager wants a smaller squad but obviously I want to be part of it.<\/p>\n
“He has new ideas and this tour will be important,” Orlandi went on.<\/p>\n
“We will know by the end of it then what he wants from us.”<\/p>\n
And on the new manager Michael Laudrup?<\/p>\n
He said: “He is a star in Spain.<\/p>\n
“He was a star as a player and did really well as a manager.<\/p>\n
“Hopefully he can be a success at Swansea as well.<\/p>\n
“He wasn’t at Barcelona when I was there but everyone knows he was amazing as a player.<\/p>\n
“His through balls were unbelievable and even when he trains with us you can see his touch hasn’t changed. He’s probably better than us at the moment!<\/p>\n
“He’s been a top player and hopefully he can be a top manager as well.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
