Scott Sinclair yesterday completed his move to the Ethiad Stadium and said that he could not turn down the chance to join Manchester City<\/p>\n
Sinclair made the £6.2m move to the Premier League Champions on deadline day and said “I’m just glad everything is settled and that I’m now a City player.<\/p>\n
“It had been dragging on and there were times I didn’t know if it would happen and I had to speak to the chairman and my agent. It was a bit stressful.<\/p>\n
“But I’m relieved that I’m here and I can’t wait to get started.<\/p>\n
“I had a great time in Swansea, had some great memories like the play-off final, but it was time to have another challenge and go back to a world-class team.<\/p>\n
“When the chance comes around I don’t know many players who would turn down the chance of moving to Manchester City.”<\/p>\n
Oddly, Sinclair admitted that he had not spoken to the manager before completing the move.<\/p>\n
