Michu’s double meant that he has now scored 18 in all competitions, including 15 in the Premier League having signed last summer for just \u00a32m for the Swans.<\/p>\n

Michu’s first goal was his first since the first leg of the League Cup semi against Chelsea on January 9 altough Laudrup was quick to point out the other strengths of his star man.<\/p>\n

“Maybe it was a bigger problem for him than us,” he said. “For me who scores is not important, but he had been scoring a lot and then had a run without them, but that happens to everybody.<\/span><\/p>\n

“He is not even a centre-forward, he is an offensive midfielder who can play there and score goals.<\/span><\/p>\n

“But he does more than waiting for the ball up front, he works hard for us and he has never been a problem for us, even if he has not been scoring goals.<\/span><\/p>\n

“When you have players playing all the games there will be moments when they are not 100 per cent. Even when he is not having chances he is working in other areas.”<\/span><\/p>\n
