There are probably better times than now to play the Reds as they have won 22 of the last 24 points available in the league but we have a habit of upsetting the form guide when we need to and if the words of our keeper are anything to go by then the team believe that they have a point to prove.<\/p>\n
It was a poor performance at Anfield back in December that saw the Swans beaten 4-1 and in truth it could have been much worse as we were outclassed in pretty every department on top of gifting goals to a home side that was desperate for form at that point in time.<\/p>\n
It was a turning point in their season in the league and they have pushed on from there and are right up there competing for a place at Europe’s top table next season as well as still being in the FA Cup and facing a quarter final replay at Blackburn.<\/p>\n
But it is that defeat at Anfield in December that still grates with Fabianski who said “It wasn’t the best of nights<\/p>\n
“But this is a game you want to play in, a second chance and an opportunity to put that right<\/p>\n
“We have had a good rest (from the Tottenham match) and this is a good game to bounce back in,” Fabianski added. <\/p>\n
“We have shown with the way we put the defeat to Chelsea to bed by beating Manchester United what we can do at home. <\/p>\n
“Liverpool are on a good run and playing well but hopefully we can compete against them and take something from it.” <\/p>\n
