Deeney has been a major factor behind Watford’s rise back to the Premier League and whilst Newcastle may put themselves in a position to make this kind of bid for the player I just cannot see any logic to me that says the Swans will be doing similar for someone who – in reality – will spend the season challenging Gomis for a starting spot.<\/p>\n
The Mail reports that no official move has been made but I cannot think that this is anything other than an easy link – possibly agent driven – to talk up the value of the player’s signature.<\/p>\n
