The season was only a bit older when the Swans visited the Bridge last campaign and despite opening the scoring they eventually fell to a 4-2 defeat as Chelsea went top of the table, a position they eventually occupied when the season ended.<\/p>\n
But Monk is not thinking that a poor pre-season for the hosts will make his life easier on Saturday \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Pre-season doesn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t mean anything.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u20ac\u0153It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s very difficult to read anything into pre-season. When you come into Premier League games it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a totally different story.<\/p>\n
