It is probably unfair to single out Fernandez above anyone else on Saturday but he was a major reason why the likes of Diego Costa did not get much change out of the Swansea defence.<\/p>\n
There was of course a penalty shout against him in the first half but there was clear evidence that he got the ball first and that the referee was right to award the corner rather than the penalty that the home side were screaming for.<\/p>\n
Fernandez made his debut for the Swans at Stamford Bridge last season and this time around he saw his team mates keep up the pressure for the 90 minutes having faded away in the second half last time around.<\/p>\n
