Shelvey is currently with the England squad preparing for tomorrow’s game against San Marino and Tuesday’s game against Switzerland where he is expected to go into the role vacated by Jack Wilshire who missed out through injury.<\/p>\n
And the player who has reignited his career in the last eight months knows that some good performances could lead him not just to play these two games but to cement his place in the squad with the Euro 2016 finals just around the corner.<\/p>\n
Shelvey could become the first player to represent England whilst at Swansea this weekend and that has happened because he has calmed his game down and concentrated on what he does best and that is playing football.<\/p>\n
He admits though that he is not everyone’s cup of tea but it is to his credit that he has changed the way he approaches the game so much<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u20ac\u0153There\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s no need to row. I was a bit immature before, but I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve realised if things are not going your way, there\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s no point moaning about it.<\/p>\n

The sending off at Old Trafford was some time ago now but he still remembers what happened afterwards with Fergie \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I was a bit silly. I pulled him aside afterwards and apologised to him and he was spot on with me.<\/p>\n
