The win would also see them join neighbours England in the finals – they qualified yesterday – and with Northern Ireland potentially adding their name tomorrow then it promises to be quite a British affair in France next summer.<\/p>\n
Coleman would love to play England for sure with his side ranked above them for the first time ever and he would love that to be a friendly even if it doesn’t happen in France next summer.<\/p>\n
“All of us would love to play England because they are a great team, a juggernaut in world football and I am sure if there\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a chance to have a friendly we would be right up for it,\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 said Coleman.<\/p>\n
“A lot has been said about going above England in the rankings, who are a great team. But the rankings won\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t get us to France. We can have a quiet smile, of course, but my mind is on France.”<\/p>\n
Wales faced England in qualifying for both the World Cup in 2006 and for Euro 2012 with England coming out winners on all four occasions. <\/p>\n
