Various news sources have reported a deal worth \u00c2\u00a315m with add-ons potentially taking it to \u00c2\u00a316.5m but both sides elected not to declare the amount which is becoming more of the norm in modern day football.<\/p>\n
Clucas and his new manager, Paul Clement, were speaking after the deal was concluded on Wednesday and had this to say on the move<\/p>\n
\u00e2\u20ac\u0153I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve seen a lot of Swansea and one of the main reasons I decided to come here was because of the way they play football. I think it suits me.<\/p>\n
\u00e2\u20ac\u0153I had a bittersweet season last year with relegation.<\/p>\n
\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Because of my playing background, I never thought I would play in the Premier League so I relished every game I played.<\/p>\n
\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Once you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve had a taste for the Premier League you always want to go back.<\/p>\n
\u00e2\u20ac\u0153So when the chance came up for me to do that again at Swansea, I grabbed the opportunity with both hands.\u00e2\u20ac\u2122\u00e2\u20ac\u2122<\/p>\n
\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Sam has had to fight hard for what he has done in his career,<\/p>\n
\u00e2\u20ac\u0153You can see that when you look at the path he has taken, having been at the Glenn Hoddle Academy and then gone on to do really well at Hull.<\/p>\n
\u00e2\u20ac\u0153And I am very pleased to have Sam with us now. He is a player I have come up against before, both in my time at Derby and since I have been here at Swansea.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u20ac\u0153He is another midfielder who brings versatility,<\/p>\n
\u00e2\u20ac\u0153He has a nice left foot. He can play in central midfield, on the left of midfield, out wide or at left-back, so I am very pleased that he is joining us.<\/p>\n
