Stacey John-Davis scored four times in the second half to get the Swansea City ladies team off to a winning start as they played their first match since November and secured a comfortable – and dominant – 5-0 win over Aberystwyth to keep up the pressure on Cardiff Met at the top of the league.<\/p>\n

The ladies team took a first half lead when Chivers finished coolly after a good move and that was just the boost that the team needed after dominating large periods of the half.<\/p>\n

\"\"The second half though was very much the Stacey show as she scored four times in a little under 40 minutes to complete a rout.\u00a0 The first came on 53 minutes when she found the top corner from six yards out having been played in by Chivers.<\/p>\n

Two became three after 77 minutes when Hughes set up her second and the hat-trick was completed in the 82nd minute when she kept her cool in a one on one situation to grab her third and the Swans fourth.<\/p>\n

The fifth – and John-Davis’ fourth – came in the last minute when Stacey latched onto a pass from Lake and rolled it into the back of the net to complete the scoring and a very satisfying afternoon for the team.<\/p>\n

The win keeps the ladies hot on the heels of Cardiff Met who won 4-0 on their return away at Briton Ferry Llansawel.<\/p>\n
