“The Wigan game can’t come quick enough,” declared Curtis. “Everyone is looking forward to it. “The spirit in the camp is unbelievable and I’ve got no doubt in my own mind that we can surprise a few people this season. “True, the step up a division means we’ll find the going a lot harder than last season, but I know we’ll cope with it. “There is definitely a gap between the Second and Third Divisions, as last season’s promoted clubs – Cardiff, Scunthorpe and Cambridge – found last year.
