that experience would bode well for us?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This may not be the most popular opinion that has ever appeared on this website but the Swans could do much worse now than to turn to Wayne Rooney, someone that the majority owners know pretty well given their links to DC United.<\/p>\n<p>The former England captain for me would be an ideal appointment for us at this level given his Championship experience with Derby and his clear contacts in the game that could &#8211; they finished 28th of 28 clubs in the Eastern Conference last season and that clearly leaves a seed of doubt but for me it is the record in the Championship I may more attention to in my thought process (of course you may argue I don&#8217;t have one if we disagree)<\/p>\n<p>I should make this doubly clear, at this point, that this is not a tip or any inside information just an opinion that Rooney and Swansea would be a good fit and certainly a man more than capable of pushing on from where we are and &#8211;
