Swansea City’s new sponsor will be offering the Vetch Field faithful the chance to travel to away games in luxury this season. Stretchout Limited, who confirmed a year deal with the Swans yesterday, will be offering supporters the chance to travel away in one of their three stretch limousines. “We will be offering fans the full package from luxury travel to luxury accommodation,” explained Stretchout managing director Andrew Steele. The 28-year-old, himself a Swans supporter, started the limousine business up from his Dunvant home earlier this year after establishing the contacts during his five years in America. Finance, he claims, has come from overseas and the Vetch Field investment is the biggest the company has made in advertising to date. “We are a local company who want to support an up and coming football club,” he added. “The limousine business has picked up over here in the last year or so, but it does not compare with America where they are as popular as taxis in the likes of New York and Los Angeles.” Swansea managing director Mike Lewis could have secured the deal for two years, but decided to follow the trend with previous sponsors Silver Shield and M&P by limiting it to a one-year package. “With the Morfa Development progressing it was important we kept our options open,” he explained. “We are more than happy to jump into bed with a local company like Stretchout.” The internet address www.Stretchout.co.uk will appear across the chest of Swansea’s new white and red home kit as well as last season’s maroon away kit. The kits will be manufactured by a local company Enterprise Clothing, a firm run by Swans fan Anthony Brittain and wife Sian Bergoni. Based in the city’s Enterprise Park, the company provides corporate clothing for a number of Premiership and First Division clubs based in the Midlands. Kits will be on sale in the club shop on Saturday.
