Profile

Calamity Jones as he’s not so fondly named in thr North Bank due to his performances in FAW premier Cup games and the few matches he’s played instead of Mr. Dependable Freestone.

Played only 2 games when Freestone was out for a month back in the 98/99 season after he himself got injured after colliding with Steve Jones, forcing us to bring in an on-loan keeper from Crystal Palace.

  • 1999/2000 Only played FAW Cup games but even then let in some sitters which would make YTS keepers blush!
  • 2000/2001 Jason’s season started badly again after injuries forced him out of the reserves for 2 months. On his return he personally conceeded 2 awful goals which meant the club lost to Barry again at Jenner Park. The after Freestone got his 1st ever Red card, Jason got sent off for for 2 yellow cards against Bury and you had to feel the writing was on the wall for his Swans career. Hollins gave Jason his last chance after relegation was assured and in fairness acquited himself quite well with some excellent performances.
