So the deadline for season tickets was extended (according to the club) for reasons of ‘inward transfer activity’ over the next week. Hmmm, a supposed French striker and Australian trialist – I would imagine that people will be clambering for their season tickets once that happens and Manchester United shirts will be burnt in the street as people switch allegiances. |
According to information that I was given, up to the 20th June – the club had sold 132 season tickets. Now that seems a more logical reason for not buying them I would imagine. |
JackArmy.net wants to hear from YOU if you have bought a season ticket. The ticket are numbered in order as they leave the club shop – so if you have bought one for the North Bank then we will have a reasonably decent idea on sales from the number of it. |
Also, many people did not receive their brochures until last week? That’s no reason surely? It’s been well advertised when the deadline was so you don’t really need a brochure do you. |
What is coming out of the club is lies at the moment. Mike Lewis saying that Oxford rang him about Roger’s availablility. Mike, even you should know now that if you pick up the telephone and dial that does not count as someone ringing you. You rang them and now you run and panic because your deceit of the club has been discovered. |
Now we have a season ticket extension deadline. Personally, I have always believed that the discount should be available right up to the first game but of course Mr Mac thinks that we will have new owners by then so he wants the money and quick. |
Don’t forget if you have bought a season ticket – let us know the number so we can gauge how many have been sold – especially if you have been silly enough to buy one in the last couple of days. |
