“I am still listening to offers at the moment,” said Roberts, Swansea’s player of the year last season.

“I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I don’t expect anything to be settled until the end of next week. The picture should be a little clearer then.

“But I will be down at the Vetch on Monday morning with the rest of the lads for the start of pre-season training.”

Roberts has always said he would like to stay with Swansea but is not thought to be happy with the new contract offered to him this summer.

The promising Welsh Under-21 international has most recently attracted attention from Premiership Charlton and Stoke City – the latest in a long list of clubs linked with the young Swan.

Should Roberts move, Stoke are the current favourites to clinch his signature, especially with midfielder Graham Kavanagh expected to join Cardiff City today.

Despite him being out of contract, Swansea could command a fee for Roberts because he is under the age of 24.

He cannot leave under the Bosman ruling and any new club would have to agree to pay compensation to Swansea.
