Former Swans player Jason Price has been taken on a week’s trial at Queens Park Rangers following his spell at Bristol Rovers reports teamtalk. |
Price, who expressed a desire to play first division football last season turned down a new deal at the Vetch Field last term and is now officially without a club with just three weeks until the start of the new season. |
His week’s trial at Bristol Rovers seemed to pass without a contract offer and it is now up to him to impress at Loftus Road. Price was often used out of position at Swansea and took some serious stick from some sections of the North Bank towards the end of the season. |
His last game in a Swansea shirt came in the FAW Premier Cup Final, which we lost to Wrexham, and Price was hounded by some fans for his apparent desire to play for Cardiff City although as he stated in an exclusive interview on this site, he never had any contact with them. |
In fairness to Jason, it was a hard decision for him to leave Swansea but, like a lot of young players, he wants to make the most out of his career and play at the highest level possible. It would be a great shame to see the new season start without him playing somewhere. |
