With the new season fast approaching, Swansea City Youth Department are now looking to expand it’s scouting team.
"Great"I thought I would love to be a scout for the team I love and with the coaching badges that I have I could be a great asset to the club. I have been coaching kids for the past 8 years and have brought through a few kids that would go on to play for teams like Watford, Luton and also have trials with some premiership clubs, so I thought as I am living away from Swansea this would be a sound chance to do something for the Swans. So I sent in my CV by e-mail and they said that they had recieved it then I left it three weeks and got no reply, then I e-mailed again they said that they had lost it and could I send another. In the end I had to send my CV five times and even went to Swansea and handed in my CV to them by myself and guess what!!!! That’s right no reply, they never even sent me a letter, no phone call which I was told I would have. What if I was a top scout who wanted to scout for the Swans, it just shows what a joke the way this club is run, I could scout for Cardiff (which I have been offered) but I can’t do that because I’m Swansea through and through, and this is how our club wants to treat real supporters. If Mike Lewis reads this article then I would like a reason why I have been treated this way. (He did say that he looks at this site) |
