I Remember When |
KH: Anything to say to the Swansea Support?
JA: You won’t have enough space mate. Just they are magnificent, away from home brilliant, really mental. They made me so welcome at Swansea. This is true, I sat in an Indian one night, after Keith Walker’s testimonial dinner. I sat there with an Indian waiter who looked like Burt Reynolds, with a naan bread on my head just laughing and laughing. It was just too much, I was so happy. The lads from the night out were there, some of the players were there and I just loved it. Yes, all I want to say is thanks to the Swansea fans, I never really had the chance. Who else makes you put a naan bread on your head and cry laughing? That’s the effect the place had on me and I will never forget it. KH: Would you sign for Cardiff City then? JA: Don’t be silly, I thought that this was going to be a serious interview? I like my house, and like going back to Swansea. I bet you say I would, and the next time I go back (at this point Jules nearly says home) they hang draw and shag me! |
