More Investors?

Although we cannot provide you with the details of this backer, sources in the media, and also backstage at Swansea City tell us that the stumbling block in the deal is the position of Mike Lewis at Swansea City after the deal has been done and dusted. Super John back at the Vetch? Now I like the sound of that.
Whether these are connected or not, but Lewis has been claiming that there are Australians interested in investment. However, at what is becoming a regular Sunday morning meeting at the Vetch, he announced that there is no further movement on this front. Starting to sound familiar again?
Potential Backers?
At the Worthington Cup tie against Peterborough two weeks ago a meeting was held at the club with two interested parties and our beloved Mike Lewis. Posing as auditors they have yet to show their hand, and we are also told that they left early.
Anyone who witnessed the disgraceful scenes in the Harry Griffiths bar after the Oxford game will probably understand why, and be more understanding when we urge every one of you to pledge your support to the Supporter’s Trust. And if you are one of those interested parties then don’t judge us by those who claim to have the club’s best interests as hears, even if those interested are compared to sex!
Be faithful to the club, but know your enemy.
We also hear that city analysts believe that former parent company, and a parent company that if they so wished could come back in October, are very close to the brink. The city has a blacklist of companies in difficulties and it probably won’t come as a major surprise to find that the name of 9th Floor Plc is very much on this list.

Southampton 3-0 Swansea City – Your player ratings

The Swans exited the FA Cup with not so much as a whimper this afternoon at St Mary’s as they were beaten by their Premier League opposition. It was nowhere near a good performance for the Swans who were second best for most of the afternoon.ย  Why not take a…
