Hardened Swansea travellers will clock up over 10,000 miles in travelling to and from the Vetch for away games this coming season with the final line up for next season’s third division confirmed this season.
In addition to that, we estimate that to travel to all 23 away fixtures will involve almost 7 days full travelling to clock up those miles. We reckon that next season we will find only 6 of the 23 grounds will be within 3 hours travelling whilst 7 will involve trips of four hours or more – just to get there.
Bristol Rovers is the shortest trip at just under 80 miles each way (around 1 hour 20) whilst Carlisle is the furthest in both distance and time – 338 miles and 5 hours 6 minutes away. Meanwhile, Darlington is only two minutes less time than thatat 324 miles away.
Newly promoted to the league sides, Yeovil and Doncaster find themselves 135 and 246 miles away respectively whilst relegated Huddersfield means a round trip of 529 miles for the travelling Jack Army.
The full list of distances and approximate travelling times is below (all mileage is counted to and from the Vetch Field)
Is there anyone out there planning to meet the 10,000 miles??

NB – Estimated times are assuming average speeds of 70mph on motorways, 60mph on dual carriageways and normal speed limits on other roads. Distances are calculated to the respective grounds of each club as opposed to city/town centres.
