| 06.07.03 – 8.27am – The housemates are woken by a screeching of tyres just outside the Big Jack Brother house. As they run into the garden they see a brick landing in the BJB garden with a note tied to it. They are not sure what the note says as it is written in Russian but they believe it to be a threat against Nick Rees. Myra scribbles on it that he has been evicted and throws it back, the housemates run back into the house as they hear it smash a car windscreen. | |||
| 06.07.03 – 10.11am – James Thomas comes to the diary room to receive the weekly task. As mentioned to the housemates yesterday, this will be a slightly different task. Big Jack Brother will set an obstacle course up in the garden and one by one on Wednesday the housemates will have to complete the obstacle course in the shortest time. The quickest around the course will receive a goodie bag from the outside world which they will not be allowed to share with the other housemates. The obstacle course will be set up tomorrow for the housemates to practice on one at a time. | |||
| 06.07.03 – 11.53am – To prepare the housemates for the task, Big Jack Brother has given them the board game ‘Mouse Trap’ Unfortunately the most vital piece of the game is missing – the mouse itself. The housemates improvise by using Leon Britton as a replacement. | |||
| 06.07.03 – 12.18pm – For some reason James Thomas is wanting to bet more of the housemates that he will win the obstacle course challenge. He believes that he could even complete the course three times in the time it takes some of his housemates to complete it once. | |||
| 06.07.03 – 2.42pm – Myra and Peter Owen are having an arm wrestle. None of the housemates are quite sure how this came about but it is a sight to behold the two of them hands locked across the dining room table. It looks an intriguing battle. | |||
| 06.07.03 – 2.49pm – Peter wins the arm wrestle after Jason shouts across the room that someone wants a season ticket disturbing Myra’s concentration. She demands that it be made the best of three and promptly wins the second match as Json extracts his revenge on Peter by saying someone has unsubscribed to Swans World. | |||
| 06.07.03 – 3.09pm – The third match is evenly contested and eventually won by Myra who slams Peter’s wrist into the table. Peter claims unfair treatment as he believes that Myra had started to play footsie with him under the table. Myra strongly denies the accusation by saying ‘you should be so lucky’ Peter comes back with ‘Your dresses look better on me" whilst the remaining housemates interject before things get out of hand. | |||
| 06.07.03 – 4.43pm – Jason Smith and Leon Britton have entered into the arm wrestling spirit. Jason is confident of an easy victory until he sprains his wrist and Leon wins 2-0. | |||
| 06.07.03 – 7.02pm – It’s en evening meal of chicken and chips for the housemate. It has been cooked by Leigh. The housemates are delighted with his culinary skills until James notices that the chicken coop is one chicken down from the morning. Leigh is sent to the bedroom to think about what he has done. He realises the mistakes in his "cash for chickens" campaign. | |||
| 06.07.03 – 8.53pm – James and Jason are discussing tactics for the new season. Jason admits that he prefers the packets that have the green and orange ones in (the old ones are always the best – apologies for the lack of quality in that humour!) whilst James believes that he should just be given forty passes a season around 25 yards from goal and he will do the rest. | |||
