As Swans legend Roger Freestone says "These children are the future of our football club. Over the past few years we have seen players rise through the ranks to be first team players at the club and this is something we should look to continue with. Nothing would give me greater pleasure than in 10 years to see some of the children at this festival turning out at the Morfa in front of a huge crowd. In supporting an event like this then all we will be doing is increasing the chance of that happening. In the day and age when you see sides spending big to build their teams it is easy to forget that there are youngsters on our own doorstep that could be just as good."
