Swansea 3 Yeovil 2

Lee Trundle’s stoppage-time strike wrapped up three points for Swansea after a dramatic victory over Yeovil. The hosts looked to be cruising to victory after Trundle’s 29th-minute penalty and a Karl Connolly effort put them two goals up with just over 20 minutes remaining.

But Gavin Williams and Kevin Gall struck after the interval to seemingly earn Yeovil a share of the spoils.

It was left to Trundle to save the Swans when he fired home in time added on to end their three-game sequence without a win.

Williams’ trip on Andy Robinson gave Trundle the easiest of chances to score his 15th goal of the season after serving a three-match suspension.

And Connolly, making his first appearance at the Vetch since breaking his ankle in September, pounced on a loose ball in the Yeovil penalty area after 67 minutes to double the advantage.

But Williams’ 73rd-minute effort and Gall’s late header set up a frantic finale which Trundle finished in style.
