Club Blast ‘Moronic’ Fans

It is clear that the incidents during last Friday’s game against Doncaster have seen the board reach the end of their tether regarding items being thrown on the pitch and they are reminding the decent supporters that the club have a fine hanging over us from the incidents against Carlisle last season.

The club are quick to acknowledge the excellent support that they have received this season and in particular they single out the atmosphere and support at the Vetch for the Doncaster game itself in which over 8000 people packed into the Vetch on a Friday night to witness the 1-1 draw between the two clubs. They believe that if this kind of fanatical support is continued then the club will reach it’s goal at the end of the season – i.e. promotion.

However, they are angry that yet again a handful of fans decided that the done thing at football matches is to throw items on the pitch and they are now urging fans to take the necessary action against these people which will allow the club to hand out a ban for life from both the Vetch, and in the future White Rock. They have advised that the police are studying CCTV footage of the Doncaster game to identify the culprits.

In a pretty straight attack on these so called fans, director Dave Morgan says "Over 99% of the supporters realise the penalties that these actions could cost our club but there are still some morons who think it is a laugh. We are calling on true fans to help sort this problem out. If anyone witnesses someone in your area throwing items then please take the necessary actions to ensure they can be banned from the club.

"The main area as we are aware is the West end of the North Bank. We are trying to build a successful club for us all but a few mindless individuals could cause us untold problems. I am not exaggerating when I say that the Welsh FA could dock us points, fine us or even close the North Bank. Can you imagine us getting to the play offs only to find we have some points deducted?

"We have invested too much into this club and have too much to lose due to the actions of just a few people. We are calling on all fans to help us sort this problem out and to allow us to eradicate the Vetch of a handful of mindless morons."

Pretty strong words I am sure you will agree from one of the directors but you can see exactly where he is coming from. Why these few individuals see it as so clever to throw items onto the pitch I have no idea. There are people out there who witness these events and these people should be pointed out as we as a club don’t need them no matter how many games they watch each season. These people are not fans of the club as you or I would know them because they think not of the consequences of their actions despite numerous reminders and requests in the past. We have a good turnover this season of income due to bigger gates and the FA Cup run – the last thing we need is for that money to be frittered away because some twat decides that he wants to throw his empty coke bottle or 10p pocket money onto the pitch.

If you ask me Dave Morgan was quite restrained in his comments but certainly they are fully endorsed by JackArmy.net and I am sure all that are reading this article. Get rid of them.
