Oli was released by QPR at the end of last season after falling down the ranks at QPR in their successful campaign to gain promotion to what is now the Coca Cola Championship. Oli saw his chances limited by the likes of Jamie Cureton and Paul Furlong but Jackett believes that he can do a job for the Swans. “Dennis has a lot of pace and power,” said and I think his athleticism could be useful for us next season.” Jacket told the Evening Post. “He’s a smashing lad who is looking for a fresh start having been released by QPR, where he suffered because we signed some more experienced players. “He forced his way into the first team on a few occasions over the last couple of years. “But he was pushed down the pecking order when we signed the likes of Tony Thorpe and Jamie Cureton.” Also capable of playing on the right wing, Oli made just 30 appearances at Loftus Road in a three year spell although he did feature for both Farnborough and Gravesend on loan last season. Added Jackett: “We’ll see how things go before deciding whether to offer Dennis a contract. “Duane Courtney is a player I’ve seen on my travels and he’s available on a free transfer, so we’re probably going to take a look at him.” Dennis Oli Career Stats
