Dineen Unveils Shirt At Press Conference

As revealed here this morning, vice Chairman Leigh Dineen addressed the waiting media at the Vetch this afternoon flanked by the Regional Directors of Re/Max Wales together with Roberto Martinez and Lee Trundle modelling the new strip.

Leigh said "We are absolutely delighted to have secured the backing of such a major name. RE/MAX is the most productive organisation the estate agency industry has ever seen and today boats over 93,000 agents, more than 4,950 offices in 51 countries.

The RE/MAX Franchisee’s in Morriston, Gorseinon and Neath have committed themselves to sponsoring us this year. This is an exciting partnership and shows that Swansea City FC has the capabilities and growing reputation to continue to attract major brands as it’s sponsor. As in previous years we hope that the supporters will embrace the company that has put it’s faith in us to carry it’s name"

Adding to Leigh’s words, Jonathan Thomas, Regional Director of Remax Wales said "We are the third largest estate agency in Wales and are looking to see our brand grow to the No 1 spot. Our link with Swansea City, a forward thinking progressive club, will hopefully see us reach our goal quicker than first envisaged."

Rob Lock, fellow Regional director added "The football club is a focal part of the community and that is something that we hold dear. Our support of the football club is our way of helping it progress and in the process help the local community through the success it gains. We all believe that the new stadium will see the advent of a new dawn for Swansea and we at Re/Max want to be a part of that"

The deal is for an initial 12 months with an option for a further 12.

Supporters are advised that the new home shirts should be in stock in the next week or so, the new away shirt within two weeks of the season starting. Season tickets are expected to be ready by the end of next week.
