Swansea City Supporters Trust is offering you the chance to win a season ticket for the first season at White Rock amongst a host of other prizes in their latest venture – Score with the Swans or ‘Pledge Your Wedge’ as it has become known. The trust explain: – As a team Swansea City and it’s supporters are starved of success. We believe that with your help we can continue to build on the work already started and put us back on the map of the football world. Please pledge what you can. With the move to White Rock this scheme will give the manager extra revenue to continue team building and to make sure that we can more than compete with our contemporaries. HOW IT WORKS: Say you tick the 20p circle and the Swans score 65 goals during the season, the amount you owe will be £13. The minimum stake is 10p and there is no maximum stake (perhaps your employer would like to get involved or you could do a join effort on behalf of you and your work mates). For every pound spent a raffle ticket will be placed into the draw, so using the example above, you will have 13 chances to win one of 5 prizes on offer. You will be notified by letter after the final game in May 2005 of how much is owed, it is anticipated that this scheme will be a success and that all pledges will be honoured.
