Last Chance Saloon

The last game at the Vetch may be over six months away but we stand here with the game almost now guaranteed to sell out completely by the end of this week at the very latest with just 500 North Bank tickets now available for sale and the East Stand completely sold out on the day.

It has taken just two days for the club to shift in excess of 3000 tickets which were made available for the game as part of a triple match package which includes the Leyton Orient and Chester games on October 19 and January 26 respectively.

With just 500 North Bank tickets and only a few for every area bar the East Stand, the club are now advising anyone who has no guaranteed access to the game that they should make their way to the club shop tomorrow to purchase one of the remaining tickets.

The club have been at pains to stress that after these tickets are sold none are expected to come on the market for the last game and by the end of this week anyone who does not have a ticket, or other form of access on the day – season ticket holders and trust members only – then they will miss the very last game at the Vetch Field.

It was always known that the last game would sell out completely but the response for these tickets has been incredible and has the added benefit that it has generated in excess of ร‚ยฃ10,000 worth of income for the club in the last two days alone.

With regards to the Leyton Orient and Chester games there will be some extra places available nearer the date of the match but the club again suggest that these will be only a few hundred at maximum and both these games are almost sold out as well.

The last game at the Vetch is almost guaranteed to be one of the most emotional that Swans fans have ever experienced at the old ground an a cracking atmosphere is guaranteed at the game together with, what we hope, to be an end of season promotion party.

This basically is last chance saloon and if you want to be there then the time is now to act – there will not be a second chance.

Don’t miss the end of an era!
