Brayley Reynolds started his football career with Lovell’s Athletic and joined Cardiff City in 1956 where he scored 15 goals in 54 league games. He joined Swansea in 1959 and scored 57 goals in 151 league games. He wasn’t the most skillful player I saw playing for Swansea, but he always gave of his best and played with great heart. He was short for a centre forward but was always competed aggressively for any ball in the air in the penalty box. Brayley returned to Lovell’s Athletic in 1965 having given great value to Swansea during the time he was there.
