|
Swans keeper Willy Gueret has committed himself to the club for a further two years after contract talks at the Liberty. Gueret will have breathed a sigh of relief when Jason Brown opted for Blackburn as I personally think that would have meant the Frenchman dropping to the bench but with the trialists here I would imagine Willy is reasonably confident of starting the season in the first team. Swansea earlier this summer turned down a six figure bid from League Two side MK Dons for the keeper Huw Jenkins was impressed with the speed in which this one resolved itself Willy has been a pleasure to deal with," he said "Everything was sorted out in no time at all and he was keen to commit himself to Swansea City. "It became apparent very quickly that Willy has the desire to stay and do well and it was very refreshing and encouraging." |
