Defender Amankwaah signed from Yeovil Town by Kenny Jackett for around £200,000 sources say, Kevin is over 6 foot and can play at full back and has also played in central defence. He started his career at Bristol City but he had a major injury lay off due to a car crash.

He struggled to become a first team regular at Ashton Gate; he then had loan spells at Torquay, Cheltenham and Yeovil before signing permanently for the Glovers. Kevin is still only 24 Amankwaah looks a good signing, he turned down a one year extension to stay at Huish Park in favour of the White Rock.

He’s impressed when he’s played against the Swans; he’s powerful, pacy and good going forward. Let’s hope he plays like that this coming season.
