Central defender Dennis Lawrence was signed by Kenny Jackett, to try and ease our defensive worries; he signed a two year deal after signing from League Two club Wrexham for an undisclosed fee. The 6 foot 7 inch Trinidad & Tobago International (66 Caps, 4 goals) played in the 2006 World Cup in Germany, where he played against Sweden, England and Paraguay. So he has experience of playing against the top players.
