Name: Wayne Gray Position: Striker Squad No.: 10 Height: 5’10 Weight: 72kg Date of Birth: 7.11.1980 Place of Birth: London Nationality: English Wayne started his career at Wimbledon, but he failed to make an impact there, going out on loan to Swindon, Port Vale, Leyton Orient and Brighton. He never made enough of an impact at any of these clubs to gain a permanent move, scoring only 9 times for all four clubs put together. He moved to Southend in the summer of 2004 and his first season was much more fruitful there, scoring 11 times in the league – while helping Southend to promotion via the Play-Offs. Last season he made a number of appearances from the bench but still managed to score nine times, while Southend made it back-to-back promotions. This season he has joined Yeovil and has scored twice, against Millwall and Southampton. He has scored against Swansea twice in his career.
