Lee Trundle is a man on a mission. His two goals at Crewe on Boxing Day got his second half of the season off to a flyer and for a man who only bagged seven goals in the first half of the season then he is looking towards that magical twenty league goal mark that so many strikers covert.
”I’m definitely looking for more goals in the second half of the season than I’ve got so far,” Trundle said. ”In other seasons I’ve got off to a flyer – I had 17 by December last year – but then I’ve ended up tailing off. ”For me this season, just like the team’s form, it’s been a gradual thing. Collectively this year we didn’t start off on fire, but now around Christmas we’re starting to pick up points and pick up momentum. ”Hopefully my form will go hand in hand with that.”We’ve lost one in 10 and that’s the sort of run Swansea City should be on,” he added. ”We are a big club in this division, we’ve got big players and we need to be challenging at the top of the table.”
