Sheffield United midfielder Phil Jagielka has claimed that Lee Trundle could play in the Premiership if a club took a gamble on him.
Jagielka was an unlikely goalkeeper last night as the Blades beat Arsenal 1-0 at Bramall Lane – having been forced into goal thanks to an injury to Paddy Kelly. And he said “Trundle has that bit of magic – he’s someone who can turn a game in an instant.
“If a Premier League club took a gamble on him I think it would pay off because he’s got all the ability in the world. It’s not too late for Trundle to play in the Premier League – it’s never too late”
Meanwhile another one of the Blades midfielders, Colin Kazim-Richards said that Swansea should offer Leon Knight another chance “I don’t know what has gone on between Kenny Jackett and Leon but I hope it gets sorted out.” said the man who played with Knight at Brighton
“I know Leon loves it there. I think Swansea’s chances of going up will increase if they keep him”
