Kenny Jackett:
“This is a tremendous result and a good performance because we played well. “After the first half I just asked the players for some more of the same because we had one or two chances that we failed to capitalise on. “So I’m pleased with the goals in the second half and pleased for Thomas because he had had to play second fiddle to Andy Robinson this season, but he showed what he can do.”
Neil Warnock:
“We were quite humiliated in the second half
“I feel disappointed and let down by players who should have been good enough to give a decent account of themselves against Swansea. “Players whose careers I have resurrected have let me down, with only one or two of them giving their all to the end. “I had a word with them in them dressing room after the game and told them how I feel because I cannot explain that performance. “Maybe it’s because I am knackered and not very well that the team played as I feel. Let’s hope I don’t get ill again between now and the end of season.”
“I have no regrets about leaving a few out because they had little injuries and struggled with tiredness and we did have a couple of suspensions
“But certain things happened in the second half that make me feel embarrassed to be a supporter, and that doesn’t happen very often. “[Avoiding relegation] would be the finest achievement in my life and that’s far more important at the moment. “I did not want to risk any of the other lads because we have to stay in the Premiership.”
