Pawel Abbott is a Swansea City player.
As widely expected, predicted and posted as FACT eleven times, Pawel this morning completed his transfer from Huddersfield for a fee of รยฃ150,000.
Abbott will go straight into the squad for tomorrow’s game against Gillingham although he may have to make do with a place on the bench “I enjoyed Huddersfield but the time was right to move for the betterment of my career,” he told the Swans website.
“I am looking forward to playing with Lee Trundle or Adebayo Akinfenwa.
“There’s going to be competition up front, that’s what keeps people on their toes.”
Ironically Abbott’s last two goals for Huddersfield came against Swansea three weeks ago – a point not lost on the Pole
“I’ll repay Swansea for that with plenty of goals,” he joked.
“The move happened so quickly, [manager] Kenny Jackett rang me on Friday.
“It’s a fantastic stadium and a great club, and I hope I can get them where they want to be, into the Championship.”>
Welcome to Wales Pawel.
