The Times is claiming that former Leeds manager Kevin Blackwell is to hold talks with Swansea regarding the manager’s post vacated by Kenny Jackett last weekend.
Blackwell was sacked by Leeds earlier this season following a disastrous start to the season that has led to the Yorkshire club being currently bottom of the Championship.
Like Jackett, Blackwell led his side to the play off final in their division last season but they were well beaten by Watford on the day – a result that seemingly carried forward to this season.
The Times claim that he is top of our list of possible replacements with Blackwell himself saying “I hope my record speaks for itself. I am one of the most qualified coaches in Europe, but I still think you have got to try to learn more and that is why I’ve been abroad in recent months”
