Roberto Martinez

"Some of the aspects of the game was just what I asked from the players – their reaction, attitude and desire and creating chances. Leyton Orient are fighting for their lives and are well organised, came here to get a point and they made it difficult for us.

"We need to get the feeling back at the Liberty Stadioum of enjoying ourselves and making it difficult for the opposition

"I can get a lot of positives from every single department and look forward to the next game. It’s not two points dropped, it’s one point won and we need to be positive and get points at Tranmere.

"At the end of the game everyone was down and really frustrated. We had to switch formation because we had too many people at the back and the closer you get to the end you have to change.

"The fans were fantastic and that affects the players – they want to give something to the fans and you can see the frustration in their faces."

Martin Ling

"We had to grind out the point,

"We will take the defensive plaudits because we were outstanding at the back but on the ball we were very poor. We didn’t ask any questions of them, but we’ve worked hard and it is a valuable point – and one I’d have taken before the game.

"Normally when teams come at us we are able to exploit the spaces they leave behind. We didn’t today and other than Shane’s chance in the second half we didn’t have an awful lot else. That’s not good enough, but the first part of the job was done well, and if we repeat that over the last ten games of the season I’m sure our football will be there for when we need it.

"It probably was two bookings for Adam, but I thought the referee was generally a fussy one. Most of the decisions went their way and I think that’s down to the fact we had 300 supporters today and they had 13,000. We brought Adam Tann and Luke Guttridge on to make it a 4-3-2.

"We took the two wide boys off and put a fresh pair of legs up front in the shape of Jabo Ibehre and I think it worked. We saw those last ten minutes out quite comfortably."
