The Swans ends of the Liberty Stadium are expected to become a sell out today with only around 500 tickets left for the showdown with Blackpool this weekend.

A season high crowd will witness the game that has many outcomes but the only one that will interest the majority of the crowd is the one that sees the Swans celebrating a play off place come 5pm on Saturday.

Blackpool have only managed to sell around 900 of their 2000 allocation for the game but with around 18,000 available to Swansea fans, all but the last 500 have been snapped up putting the crowd already over the 18,000 mark.

Tickets are on sale from the ticket office today but fans are advised to get there early to avoid disappointment.

"It looks like it will be a sell-out if Blackpool sell all their tickets," said club director David Morgan.

"We are unable to sell any unsold away tickets to our fans because they are not allowed to use the same turnstiles and facilities. There are also about 200 wheelchair and helper seats which are largely unused, but we cannot sell them to able-bodied supporters.

"We have moved the segregation netting in on the away end to allow Swans fans to use seats that are normally unused. With the assistance of the local police, we’re doing everything possible to accommodate as many home fans as possible." Swansea hope to announce ticket details on Sunday if they do upset the odds and reach the play-offs. Should they make it, Swansea will play the semi-final first leg at home on Sunday, May 13 (5.30pm). The date of the second leg depends on who they are playing. If it is Blackpool, they will go to Bloomfield Road on Saturday, May 19 (noon). If it is Nottingham Forest or Bristol City, the game will be played on Friday. May 18 (7.45pm). The final takes place on May 27.
