The Target Is In Sight

Why not visit our sponsors lounge

“A Touch Far Vetched!” has raised £900 for Youth Development at Swansea City and stands just a hundred short of its target for the season…and we aim to bridge the gap, and more if possible, with our final fanzine of a frantic season.

Issue 10 of “ATFV!” will be ready for release over the next day or so and will be on sale before the crucial kick about with Blackpool that could see the Swans steal a place in the play offs.

There are currently 5 volunteers selling on Saturday and so copies should be available from the following locations:-

  • The bridge between the East Stand and KFC/retail

  • The crossing between Rossi’s and the stadium

  • Between the ticket office and the club shop

  • The traffic barrier leading to the away end

  • The Ivor Allchurch Statue

If you do happen to miss a seller on match day, you can always buy your copy online from our website, which can be found at www.atfv.co.uk. Just click the link for our current issue, bash the "Buy Now" button and you’ll be taken to our safe and secure PayPal transaction screen.

Alternatively, there are copies available over the counter from The Tool Shack in Swansea Market – so if you’re after a good screw, why not pick up a fanzine at the same time?!

In this issue we take a look back over the events of a frustrating season that could end with a flourish, explore the reasons behind the flat atmosphere at the Liberty, learn more about the duties of a steward and analyse our disciplinary record. There’s also a new section entitled Vetch Field Memories, which kicks off with the unforgettable 5-1 demolition of Leeds in our first ever match in the top flight.

There are the usual cartoons and competitions, Phil Sumbler keep us abreast of happenings within the Supporters Trust and Kevin Hodder tells us about the Centre of Excellence Under12/Under13’s Italian tour.

All of this and more for just £1.00!

And don’t forget, each and every time you buy a copy of "ATFV!" you increase our ability to help David Moss spot the best talent in the area, recruit that talent and then nurture it to produce the quality home grown players that we all crave.

Hope you enjoy the read!
