MEET THE REF – NOTTINGHAM FOREST

Saturday’s referee is Scott Mathieson from Cheshire, he is a very experienced referee and has been refereeing since 1997; He was the referee in the infamous Hull game where the Swans stayed in Division 3 on the last game of the season.

He kindly awarded us two penalties in that game which Swansea won 4-2. He hasn’t been that kind to us since then and has looked rather dodgy, though he did only average 2.1 Yellow cards per game last season.
