|
Feeney has signed on a four month loan spell from neighbours Cardiff City whilst Orlandi has spent the last two seasons on loan at Barcelona B from his club, Alaves. The official site has the following to say about the two new acquisitons “Orlandi, a highly-rated and versatile 23-year-old who can play anywhere on the left or as a second striker, has spent the last two seasons on loan at Barcelona. Having made 66 appearances for Barcalona ‘B’ in that time, Orlandi has also made three appearances for the first team.” “Andrea actually came over to Swansea back in June for a look around and we’ve been trying to sign him ever since,” explained Roberto to the Official site “We’ve watched him a number of times over in Spain and he will be a fantastic addition to our squad. “He’s six foot, quick and versatile. He can play anywhere on the left, while also as a second striker.” And on Feeney the Official Site says “Feeney, capped 19 times by his country, signed for the Bluebirds for £75,000 in March and went on to make six Championship appearances for the Ninian Park club last season. He started off as a trainee with Leeds United and was loaned out to Bournemouth. The loan eventually became permanent and he went on to play nearly 100 times for The Cherries, scoring 36 goals. He was then sold to Stockport County for £45,000, making over 40 appearances and scoring 17 before transferring to Luton Town for £150,000.” What are your thoughts?
